कुण्डलिनी क्रम में यह पंचम चक्र है. विशुद्धचक्र अनाहत चक्र
से ऊपर की और कंठ में स्थित है. इस चक्र को कंठपद्म भी कहा गया है. इस चक्र के १६
दल होते है. आधुनिक विज्ञान में इसे carotid
plexus कहा गया है. इसके १६ दल १६ भाव को नियंत्रित करते है. यह
चक्र को पदार्थो की विशुद्धता के लिए जाना जाता है इस लिए इसे विशुद्धि चक्र के
नाम से भी जाना जाता है. सहस्त्रार से ज़रित अमृत नाभि तक पहोच जाता है लेकिन
संग्रह न होने पर उसका व्यय हो जाता है. अगर इसको विशुद्ध चक्र के माध्यम से योग्य
गति दे दी जाये तो व्यक्ति का मृत्यु पर विजय प्राप्त करना संभव हो जाता है लेकिन
यह तभी संभव हो सकता है जब व्यक्ति का विशुद्ध चक्र पूर्ण रूप से खुल गया हो.
मनुष्य शरीर में रोज ब्रम्ह मुहूर्त में सहस्त्रार चक्र से एक बूंद अमृत तत्व
निकलता है इसी लिए ब्रम्हमुहूर्त को योगतांत्रिक साधनाओ में अत्यधिक महत्वपूर्ण
समय माना गया है लेकिन यह अमृत तत्व का शरीर में योग्य संचार नहीं हो पता है. इस
समय साधना करने पर व्यक्ति में इस तत्व का संचार होने लगता है. लेकिन इसका पूर्ण
लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए साधक का विशुद्ध चक्र जागृत होना आवश्यक है. इस प्रकार वह
अमृत तत्व कुदरती रूप से नाभि में एकत्रित होने लगता है या फिर उसका कई प्रकार से
संचार साधक के लिए संभव हो जाता है. इस महत्वपूर्ण चक्र के जागरण पर साधक विषपान
कर उसके अंदर के विष तत्व को समाप्त कर सकता है तथा उस पर विष का कोई अशर नहीं
होता. योग में इस स्थान को विमानों का स्थान भी कहा जाता है अर्थात व्यक्ति को
विविध लोक में जाने का मार्ग भी यही से प्राप्त होता है. इसी विमान से सबंधित
सिद्धांत को पश्चिमी देश astral plane कहते है.
इस चक्र का सबंध आकाशतत्व से है, फल
स्वरुप वह आकाशतत्व के माध्यम से किसी भी लोक की कोई भी ध्वनि सुन सकता है तथा उन
द्रश्यो को देख भी सकता है. एक प्रकार से व्यक्ति की सत्ता आकाश तत्व की तरह सभी
जगह व्याप्त हो जाती है. ३६ शिव रुपी आकाशतत्व तथा उसको संचारित करने के लिए ३६
शक्ति तत्वों का केन्द्र विशुद्ध चक्र है.
विशुद्धचक्र का सबंध पंचम शरीर से है.
साधक हंस शरीर से आगे परमहंस शरीर की प्राप्ति इस चक्र के पूर्ण विकास के बाद कर
लेता है, फल स्वरुप वह जागृत अवस्था में भी अपने परमहंस शरीर को अलग कर के समाधी
अवस्था को प्राप्त कर सकता है. समाधी की प्राप्ति के लिए उसे फिर आँखे बंद कर के
बाहरी दुनिया से संपर्क सूत्रों को तोड़ने की आवश्यकता नहीं पड़ती.
आज के युग में हर कोई अपने नाम के आगे
पीछे हंस या परमहंस शब्द को जोड़ देता है लेकिन ऐसा नहीं है. पहले के युग में
साधूसाही के नियम अंतर्गत महाकुम्भ के समय गुरु अपने शिष्य को अपने सम्प्रदाय से
सबंधित महामंडलेश्वर के सामने उपस्थित करते थे. उस समय उसके चक्रों की स्थिति को
देखा जाता था और जब वह समाधी अवस्था में प्रवेश करता था तब उसकी पूर्ण रूप से
पुष्टि करने के बाद उसे हंस अवस्था या परमहंस अवस्था को देख कर उसको यह पदवी दी
जाती थी. परमहंस की पदवी मात्र उसी व्यक्ति को दी जाती थी जिसका विशुद्ध चक्र
पूर्ण विकसित हो गया हो और उसकी कुण्डलिनी आज्ञा चक्र की तरफ गतिशील हो. और अगर
कोई नियमों का उल्लंघन कर के अपने नाम के पीछे इन शब्दों का प्रयोग करता तो साधू
समाज उसका बहिष्कार करता था. लेकिन आज की स्थिति पूर्ण रूप से बदल गई है.
पञ्चइन्द्रियों के अंतर्गत इस चक्र का
सबंध कंठ तथा श्रवण क्षमता दोनों से है. इस चक्र का बीज मन्त्र है ‘हं’. विशुद्ध
चक्र के १६ दल में जो बीज (सभी स्वर) है वह है
‘अ’, ‘आ’, ‘इ’, ‘ई’, ‘उ’, ‘ऊ’, ‘ॠ’, ‘ऋ’, ‘ऌ’, ‘ॡ’, ‘ए’, ‘ऐ’, ‘ओ’, ‘औ’, ‘अं’,
‘अः’.

Vishuddh chakra
This is fifth chakra in kundalini
sequence. Vishuddha chakra is situated in neck area upper side of anahata
chakra. This chakra is thus also called as ‘Kantha Padma’ (lotus of the neck).
In modern science this chakra is called as ‘carotid plexus’. 16 petals of this
lotus control 16 emotions. This chakra is known for the purity of the elements
thus this chakra is also termed as vishuddhi chakra (chakra of the complete
purity). Nectar oozed from sahastrara reaches to the navel but because it does
not remain stored there it goes wasted. If this nectar is given right direction
through vishuddh chakra then it is easy to win the death even but this could
become possible only when visuddha chakra is developed completely. In the human
body, daily in the bramh muhurta time duration one drop of the nectar comes out
and for this reason, in yoga tantric sadhana bramha muhurta is considered as
very important time duration but proper flow of this nectar does not take place
in the body. At this time duration if sadhana is done then proper flow starts
being maintained. But to have maximum benefit of this, it is essential to have
visuddha chakra activated. And this way, this element of the nectar starts
being collected in navel region naturally or it could be modulated in many ways
by sadhaka. When this important chakra is activated, then sadhak can have
poison and can vanishes all the poisonous effects of the same and no poison can
affect the sadhaka. In yoga, this place is also called as place of the Vimana.
In the western countries, this concept is termed as ‘astral planes’.
This chakra is connected with element
aether (sky) resulting power to hear any voice of the universe and to watch any
scene of the universe with medium of the aether element. This way, persons
power may spread everywhere the element aether is present. Vishuddha chakra is
center of 36 aether elements in the form of shiva and for application of the
same 36 aether elements in the form of the shakti.
Vishuddha chakra have relation with
fifth body. When this chakra is fully developed than sadhaka may go ahead from
hamsa body and achieves paramhamsa body, this results in the power of the
Samadhi in the awaken state of main body by separating paramhamsa body. Then
after one needs not to cut off from the outer world and close eyes to enter in
Samadhi state.
In today’s time, one may attach label
hamsa or paramhamsa before or after name by self but this is not real concept.
Previously, under the rule of sadhu sahi, in MahaKumbha fair, guru used to
present their disciples in front of the respective MahaMandaleshwar of the
sect. at that time, inspection of the positions of the chakra awaking used to
be done when sadhaka used to enter in the Samadhi state at that time after
complete surety of the same only, that sadhaka used to be titled with Hamsa or
ParamHamsa. Paramahamsa title used to be given to that person only whose
visuddha chakra is completely developed and kundalini is moving ahead of the
vishuddha chakra. And if one self uses this title by breaking this rule, than
whole sadhu samaj or the ascetic society used to boycott that person. But today
whole scene is completely changed.
This
chakra is related with power of speaking and hearing senses among five basic
senses. Beejamantra of this chakra is ‘ham’. Beeja [all vowels]
in the sixteen petals of this chakras
