Some Important Facts Related to Sadhna and Poojan Procedure:
Brothers and sister, ever since I have found myself full of
consciousness, I have spent most of my time in gathering information about
worshipping and sadhna and implementing it practically. Like other spiritual
aspirants, it is one of my favourite tasks….:)
I have taken participation in
all types of worship whether it is Yagya, Bhagwat Gita, Nav Chandi or Sahastra
Chandi Yagya, Bajrang Paath Yagya or Ramayana Paath ………or Tantric worship…….and
after spending so much of time, my analysis is that….
Though there are so many genres of worship but they can be broadly
categorised into three sects namely, Shaakt Sect, Shaiva sect and Vaishnav
Sect.
And all the genres of
worship are just branches of these three sects. Well, it is different topic altogether.
Let us focus our attention on subject of today i.e. sadhna and genre of
worship.
Brothers, Iam asked so many questions like……
What
should be our genre of worship?
Shall we so complete poojan daily, but it consumes a lot of time.
Shall
we do Nyas daily or not? If yes, what is the procedure????
My dear brothers and sisters, first and foremost we have to understand
that what we want to do….
Since procedures of various sadhnas and worship will be different,
therefore….we should firstly decide about time-table…..
Mode of worship which we are connected with belongs to Vedic tradition
and we see it daily in our surroundings. But the same padhati in North-East is translated into Tantric worship.
It is little bit differentand
in tantra parlance, it is called Divya Bhaav or Veer Bhaav worship.
This subject is also different…..Now let us talk about sadhna and poojan
procedure…
Brothers and sisters, first and most important point is to give priority
to worship-room in our home. It is seen that in present times we do not provide
space for worship room due to excessive materialistic tendency or shortage of
space. If it is done too, we make small temple on Roof. Where is sadhna room in
such a case?
Brothers, what I want to say is
that at least one particular place in our home should be reserved for sadhna
where we can chant mantras or do poojan without any obstacle…..Isn’t…:)
Some modes of worship are such
that they do not require lot of chanting rather worship procedure is special
and lengthy and they need to be completed without any obstacle. Durga Poojan in
Navraatri and Shiva Poojan in Shravan month are some of such example. In them,
even before the chanting, in establishment procedure itself a kind of energy,
satisfaction and divinity is created which is good omen for sadhna…..It also
prepares you for sadhna….
Now we have to see whether we daily do poojan or sadhnabecause there is
difference between the two.
In Poojan, we usually do Panchoopchar or Shodashopchar poojanlike
Aavahan of God, Ardhya, offering bath and cloth, applying mark on God,
Decoration of god, offering Bhog, dhoop and lamp, doing aarti etc. but in sadhna……:)
In sadhna, chanting of mantra is given priority after doing brief
poojan.
Brothers and sisters, in poojan procedure following facts are necessary
to be taken into consideration.
1)
Daily, clean the worship place, offer bath to
god/goddess, decorate him/her and offer dhoop and lamp.
2)
It is better if you chant mantras after
poojan. But at least if you have taken initiation, chant 1, 4, 5 rounds of Guru
Mantra.
3)
Brothers and sisters, worship procedure is
purely indicative. Therefore, if you have any idol and yantra established at
your home, offer bath to it. If it is not possible for you to move it then keep
one bowl in front of it and do indicative poojan through Panch-patra. In other
words, offer one copper spoon of water, do not sprinkle it. Sprinkling is not
done in poojan. Offer water and collect it in bowl.
4)
Sprinkling of water can do done by us
on ourselves during Pavitrikaran process or Disha bandhan process. But it
should not be done on any picture/idol/yantra of god. Rather water should be
offered respectfully and should be collected in bowl or any other container.
Water collected can be offered at any root of tree. It will provide irrigation
to plant and tree and water will also not touch anyone’s feet….isn’t?
5)
When you plan to do any sadhna, collect all
information regarding mantra. Do the sadhna only after attaining related Nyas,
Viniyog, and Dhayan etc.
One
more question that may arise in mind that is Nyas compulsory in each and every
sadhna?
6)
It is true that knowledge of Nyas
procedure increase chances of success in sadhna and sadhak should be aware of
this procedure. But still there are some mantras which provide complete results
even if we do not do accompanying Nyas procedure. For example, we usually do
Guru Mantra. But it does not mean that there is no nyas or Viniyog procedure
for it. It was just one of example.
7)
It all depends upon fact whose god/goddess
sadhna is being done by you. If you are aware of ruler of that mantra,
Rishi, Chhand and Shakti, Beej etc. then you can do Nyas and Viniyog.
Otherwise my dear brothers
and sisters, you can simple take Sankalp in front of Sadgurudev and start the
sadhna. It will also provide you complete success. This fact is told by
Sadgurudev only.
Trust on Guru and Mantra completes half of the task. What is left is
chanting after which success is certain….:)
Brothers and sisters! We all are influenced/inspired by different sects
and different gods and do our sadhna accordingly too. Therefore, there can’t be
same rules for all of us.
Some worship Lord Shiva, some
worship Shakti, some believe in Bhairav, some do upasana of goddess Gayatri,
some have faith in Lord Krishna and some show faith in Lord Rama and his
devotee Bajrangi….:)
But one fact which unifies all
of us is our connectivity with Gurudev. Here, we all are connected with Gurudev
in one manner or the other. Therefore, Guru sadhna, poojan will be same for
each of us….:)
Therefore some facts for sadhaks
having interest in Guru Sadhna…
1) Perform Guru Poojan daily with dedication. In case of shortage of time, chant 4 rounds of Guru Mantra, 1 round of Chetna Mantra and
Gayatri mantra successively.
2)
If you are doing Guru Sadhna or
planning to do it then chant Guru Praaneschetna Mantra as much as possible before it. Along with it, recite chetna mantra given
in book “Dhayan,
Dhaarna and Samadhi” 5 times before and after basic
sadhna. These mantras have also been given in last article on Garbhasth Shishu
Sadhna. It will increase chances of
success.
Guru is base of each and every sadhna. Therefore, one should not neglect
Guru Sadhna. By doing it, consciousness
and energy of Sadgurudev will be gained by continuously and you will do each
sadhna very easily. No one can then stop you from reaching heights and divinity
of sadhna since you are guided by Sadgurudev who is always with you on this
divine path.
I not only hope but have complete confidence that these facts will prove
useful for all of you in sadhna…so get ready for sadhna….it is not only our path
but it is our responsibility too being a disciple.

साधना,
पूजा विधान सम्बन्धी कुछ महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य:
भाइयो बहनों मैने जब से अपने आप को
चेतनायुक्त पाया है, सारा समय
अर्थात अधिकांश समय पूजा पाठ और साधनायुक्त जानकारी एकत्रित करने और उसे
क्रियान्वित करने में ही लगाया है. अन्य लोगों कि तरह मेरा भी ये प्रिय कार्य
है..... :)
मैं सभी तरह, सभी प्रकार के पूजा पाठ में भाग लेती रही हूं चाहे
वो कोई यज्ञ हो किसी भी प्रकार का अर्चन हो भगवत गीता का पाठ हो या नवचंडी या
सहस्त्र चंडी यज्ञ हो, बजरंग पाठ यज्ञ हो या रामायण पाठ.....
या कोई तांत्रिक हवन पूजा या अन्य कोई भी..... और इतने समय लगाने के पश्चात मेरा
विश्लेषण ये है कि......
अनेक पूजा पद्धतियाँ प्रचलित
हैं......किन्तु जो मत प्रचलित हैं वे हैं शाक्तमत, शैवमत और वैष्णव मत....
और सारी पूजा पद्धतियाँ इन्हीं की शाखा
मात्र हैं. खैर ये विषय कुछ अलग है, अभी हम बात साधना और पूजा पद्धति पर बात कर रहे हैं.
भाइयों मेरे पास कुछ प्रश्न आते हैं
कि......
क्या होना चाहिए
पूजा पद्धति ?
क्या प्रतिदिन पूरा पूजन करें, किन्तु इसमें तो बहुत समय लग जाता है
क्या हम प्रतिदिन
ही न्यास करें या ना करें, या करें तो
कैसे ? ?????
मेरे प्रिय स्नेही भाइयों बहनों सबसे पहले
हमें ये समझना होगा कि हम करना क्या चाहते हैं....
क्योंकि भिन्न पूजा, भिन्न साधना का विधान भी भिन्न ही होगा ना,
अतः ... पहले ये तय कर लें कि क्या है उनकी दिनचर्या ...
हम जिस पूजा पद्धति से जुड़े हैं वो है वैदिक
परम्परा जो कि हम प्रति दिन हमारे आसपास देखते हैं, किन्तु यही पद्धति उत्तर पूर्व कि ओर चलें जाएँ तो तांत्रिक पूजा पद्धति में परिवर्तित हो जाती
है.
जो कि थोड़ी अलग है और जिसे तंत्र कि भाषा में दिव्य भाव या वीर भाव कि पूजा कही गयी है.
ये विषय भी अलग है..... अब हम साधना पद्धति
और पूजा प्रक्रिया पर बात करते हैं ....
भाइयों बहनों सबसे पहली और
महत्वपूर्ण है कि हम अपने घर में पूजा स्थान को प्राथमिकता दें क्योंकि वर्तमान
समय में अत्यंत भौतिकता वादी तथा स्थानाभाव के कारण पूजा स्थल को ही स्थान नहीं दे
पाते या देते भी हैं तो सबसे ऊपर छत पर मंदिर बना दिया जाता है, उसमें साधना कक्ष कहाँ है ?
भाइयों मेरा मतलब हमरे घर एक स्थान तो कम से कम
साधना हेतु होना चाहिए ना जहां कोई बाधा ना हो और हम निर्विघ्न बैठकर मन्त्र जप या
पूजा कर सकें..... हैं ना :)
कुछ पूजा पद्धातियाँ ऐसी होती हैं जिसमें
मन्त्र जप नहीं होते किन्तु पूजा प्रक्रिया ही विशेस और लंबी होती है कि उसे बिना
किसी बाधा के ही पूर्ण करना होता है जैसे...... नवरात्री मे दुर्गा पूजन और
श्रावणमास मे शिव पूजन , इन पूजन में
मन्त्र जप का विधान तो बाद कि बात है किन्तु इनकी स्थापन में ही एक उर्जा एक
संतुष्टि और एक दिव्य भाव विकास होने लगता है जो कि एक अच्छी बात है साधना के
लिए...इससे आपकी साधना हेतु पूर्व तैयारी भी हो जाती है......
अब हमें इस बात का ध्यान रखना
होता है कि हम प्रति दिन पूजा करते हैं या साधना . क्योंकि इन दोनों में भेद हैं,
पूजा में जहाँ आप सिर्फ पूजा करते
हैं जिसमें कि आप पंचोपचार या षोड्सोपचार करते हैं जैसे भगवान को आवाहन, अर्ध्य, स्नान, वस्त्र, तिलक श्रृंगार भोग धूप-दीप आरती आदि करते
हैं किन्तु साधना.... :)
भाइयों साधना में संक्षिप्त पूजन कर
मन्त्र जप को प्राथमिकता दी जाती है .....
भाइयों बहनों पूजा विधि मे अनेक बातों ध्यान
रखना भी आवश्यक है....
१- प्रतिदिन पूजा स्थल को साफ
सुथरा कर भगवान को स्नान आदि करवा कर पूर्ण श्रंगार करें भोग धूप-दीप से पूरा पूजन
संपन्न करें ....
२- यदि आप पूजा के बाद मन्त्र
जप भी करते हैं तो अति उत्तम, पर कम से
कम यदि दीक्षित हैं तो अपने गुरुमंत्र की एक, चार, पांच या
जितनी संभव हो माला अवश्य करें....
३- भाइयों बहनों! पूजा पद्धति
पूर्ण रूप से प्रतीकात्मक होती है, अतः यदि आपके घर में जो भी विग्रह यंत्र आदि का स्थापन हो तो उन्हें स्नान
आदि करवा दीजिए या फिर यदि उन्हें हिलाना संभव नहीं तो सामने एक कटोरी रख लें और
पंचपात्र से ही प्रतीकात्मक पूजन करें यानि एक-एक आचमनी जल उतारें, छिडकें नहीं. भाइयों ! जल छिडकने
का विधान है ही नहीं आप जल को उतारकर कटोरी मे डालें.....
४-जल का छिडकाव हम् अपने ऊपर
पवित्रिकरण या दिशा बन्धन हेतु कर् सकते हैं, किन्तु देवो पर या किसी विगृह पर या यंत्रों पर जल छिडकाव का न कर सिर्फ
पूरे सम्मान से आचमनी से जल उतारकर कटोरी मे या किसी भी पात्र मे ही डालें और बाद
में उसे किसी पेड़ की जड़ मे डालें, उस पौधे या पेड़ को सिंचन
भी मिलेगा और जल पैरों मे भी नहीं जायेगा ..... हैं ना :)
५- जब साधना करें तब -- मंत्र
से सम्बन्धित सभी जानकारी प्राप्त कर लें, उससे सम्बंधित न्यास, विनियोग, ध्यान आदि प्राप्त कर ही साधना में प्रवृत्त हों .
एक प्रश्न है की
क्या प्रत्येक साधना में न्यास आदि करना चाहिए ?
६- यथा संभव न्यास विधान का
ज्ञान होना सफलता के सोपान को अधिक सरलता से पाने की क्रिया ही है और इसका ज्ञान
साधक को होना चाहिए फिर भी कुछ मन्त्र ऐसे भी हैं कि जिनके न्यास ना भी करो तो भी पूर्ण सफलता मिलती
ही है . जैसे गुरु मन्त्र जिसको हम सामान्यतः ऐसे ही कर लेते हैं, किन्तु इसका अर्थ ये नहीं कि गुरुमंत्र के न्यास
या विनियोग नहीं है ये एक उदाहरण था कि ऐसा कर सकते हैं.
७- ये निर्भर करता है कि आप किस
देव कि उपासना या साधना कर रहें हैं . आपको यदि उस मन्त्र के अधिष्ठाता देव, ऋषि,
छंद और शक्ति, बीज आदि का ज्ञान है तो आप
न्यास विनियोग कर सकते हैं .
वरना प्रिय भाइयों बहनों ! आप सिर्फ
गुरुदेव कि साक्षी में सिर्फ संकल्प लेकर ध्यान करें और साधना प्रारंभ कर सकते हैं, और उससे भी पूर्ण सफलता मिलेगी, ये सदगुरुदे ने ही बताया है.
मन्त्र और गुरु पर श्रद्धा होने से ही आधा कार्य तो यूँ ही हो जाता है बाकी
जप के बाद सफलता मिलनी ही है ... :)
भाइयों बहनों ! हम भिन्न मत और भिन्न देव से
प्रेरित हैं और उसी के अनुसार साधना या पूजा भी करते हैं तो सब के लिए एक् से नियम
नहीं हो सकते, क्योंकि सब की अपनी पूजा
पद्धति है .
कोई शिव का उपासक है, कोई शक्ति का, कोई भैरव का,
तो कोई गायत्रीका उपासक है तो कोई कृष्ण का. कोई राम मे विश्वास
रखता है तो कोई राम भक्त बजरंगी में..... :)
किन्तु एक बात तो है जो हम सब को एक करती
है और वो है गुरुदेव से जुडना . यहाँ पर सभी किसी ना किसी रूप मे गुरुवर से जुड़े
हैं अतः उनकी यानि गुरु- साधना, पूजा या
उपासना तो एक ही होगी ना .... :)
अतः गुरु साधना में रूचि रखने
वालों साधकों हेतु कुछ तथ्य.....
१- प्रति दिन गुरु पूजन अवश्य
करें पूरी श्रद्दा से, यदि समयाभाव हो
तो चार माला गुरुमंत्र एक माला चेतना मन्त्र और एक माला गायत्री मन्त्र की अवश्य
संपन्न करें.
२- यदि गुरु साधना कर रहें हैं
या करने की सोच रहें है तो उससे पहले गुरु प्राणश्चेतना
मन्त्र जितना संभव हो सके अवश्य करें. इसके साथ ही
"ध्यान धारणा और समाधि" मे दिए हुए चेतना मन्त्र जो कल ही मैंने गर्भस्थ शिशु साधना में
दिए हैं उन मन्त्रों को पांच बार पहले और पांच बार मन्त्र के आखिरी में अवश्य करें
साधना सफलता के प्रतिशत बढ़ जायेंगे...... :)
भाइयों बहनों ! किसी भी साधना का आधार
ही गुरु होते हैं अतः जीवन में गुरु साधना से वंचित ना रहें. सदगुरुदेव की चेतना
उर्जा सदा आपको प्राप्त होती रहेगी,और आप प्रत्येक साधना को बड़ी आसानी से करते चले जाओगे और साधना की उच्चता
तक दिव्यता तक पहुँचने से आपको कोई नहीं रोक सकता, क्योंकि
आपके मार्गदर्शक गुरुदेव हैं जो निरंतर आपका हाथ पकड़कर उस दिव्य पथ पर चल रहें हैं
.....
मुझे उम्मीद ही नहीं पूर्ण विश्वास
है की आप सभी के लिए साधना मे उपयोगी सिद्ध होंगे..... तो तैयार हो जाइये साधना
हेतु...... क्योंकि यही हमारा पथ भी है और शिष्य धर्म और कर्त्तव्य भी....... :)
